  I arrived at 2am with a copy of my online travel website receipt and my passport, and was (somehow incredibly) upgraded to an executive suite full with dining and living rooms, 2 baths, and separate king size bedroom. Several bottles of complimentary water were in the suite, the bath amenities were great, grapefruit and mint, refreshing after a long day of travel. The room was spotless. I didn't like paying for internet, wireless in the room is not an option, only the provided ethernet cable. Wireless in the exec lounge is free, however...I dont understand the discrepancy but at Dhs100 for 24 hours connectivity I guess it was worth it for the time I was in the room. The 3rd floor lounge is a wonderful place to work. Fridge stocked with water and sodas, orange and grapefruit juice available, large selection of hot and cold breakfast items and cookies and fruit throughout the afternoon. When another guest unplugged the wireless, the hostess quickly summoned the technician who fixed the issue smoothly and effeciently. The pool attendants were very courteous, cold strawberries they provided were refreshing in the hot Dubai sun. The pool water is a cool temperature, very comfortable to take a quick dip.
